86: Ellis Simms has just gone straight into Ryan Manning with an elbow again – Coventry have lost their heads again.
85: We said how dangerous thew Saints are from set pieces and Kuryu Matsuki has given the Saints there second of the game – the ball just hits him in the box not sure he knows much about it but he won’t care. Coventry 0-2 Southampton
85: GOAL!!!! THE SAINTS DOUBLE THEIR LEAD!
80: Woolfenden now into the book following a high boot on Caspar Jander and that foul is met by boo’s from the home side.
77: Lampard now throwing everything at it for the last part of this game and its not a bad two players to bring on as Victor Torp and Romain Esse come on.
75: Southampton are doing a terrific job of winding up those Coventry players and fans – just taking their time with set-plays and buying important fouls.
70: It’s going to be a long 20 minutes plus added time for Southampton, the home side are putting in crosses at every given opportunity.
67: The Saints are introducing some fresh legs as Cameron Archer replaces Cyle Larin and Shea charles replaces Cameron Bragg – who has had a terrific game.
61: HUGE CHANCE FOR COVENTRY! No surprises where it came from – another cross – and it finds Haji Wright whos header is straight at Peretz. And now he is replaced by Ellis Simms, Lampard clearly not happy with that attempt.
60: It is lovely build-up play from the Saints as Azaz finds Jander but his shot from a tight angle is straight at Rushworth.

54: Manning’s free-kick goes just over the bar, the Saints on top at the start of this second half.

48: Matsuki cuts onto his left and whips a ridiculous ball to the back post but it goes through everyone and forces Carl Rushworth to push it onto the post but Flynn Downes is there to tap it home from a few yards out. The Sky Sports commentary team sound devastated.
48: GOALLLLLLLLL!!! FLYNN DOWNES PUTS SAINTS AHEAD!
46: We are getting back underway for the second half – no changes for either side.
HT: Coventry 0-0 Southampton – Southampton started the much better of the two sides after maybe catching the home side by surprise with a switch in formation to a 4-1-4-1 to combat the strengths out wide for Coventry. But by the end of the half Frank Lampard’s side looked the better as they started to get joy out wide, which has been their route to goal so often this season. A Daniel peretz diving save from a Liam Kitching header has kept the scores level.
45+1: CHANCE! Coventry should be ahead Mason-Clark puts in another dangerous cross and this time finds Haji Wright whos left-footed strike goes just wide.
43: WHAT A SAVE! Daniel Peretz makes an insane save from a Kitching header down to his left and manages to put out of harms way. That was also the first attempt on target of the match.
42: Onyenka has been absolutely everywhere this half for Coventry – he just ran all the way back stop Flynn Downes on the counter.
38: Cyle Larin recieves a nasty arm into the face but the referee waves play on? Coventry clearly still not over the game in December.
34: Been a very even game so far but little happening in both boxes as so far theres been just four shots- two each.
32: It is a well worked Coventry move as Dasilva whips in a delicious cross to the back post towards Sakamoto but he can’t direct his header on goal.
30: Coventry must dread a Southampton set-piece, the Saints are getting the first contact on every corner.
26: Lots of fouls so far in this match, there is clearly still some bad blood from when the last time these teams met as both of them faced fines after failing to control their players – and manager in Coventry’s case.
23: Coventry are finding their feet in this game now, Ephron Mason-Clark is starting to get joy down the left as he has put in two teasing crosses now which couldn’t quite find the oncoming attackers.
15: Southampton are controlling this opening third of the half and have given Coventry barely anything , which seems to be frustrating the home side.
10: A deep corner to the back post from Ryan Manning finds Kuryu Matsuki who puts it back across to Cyle Larin who tries hitting one on the turn but it goes inches wide of the post.
6: Frank Onyenka tip-toes his way into the Southampton box but runs into Taylor Harwood-Bellis and shouted for a penalty but the referee waved play on.
1: CHANCE! Southampton have an early chance as Ryan Manning finds Cyle Larin in behind the Coventry defence but he can’t latch onto it as Rushworth comes out to claim.
1: We are UNDERWAY at the CBS Arena as the leaders take on the Saints.
