Some players are quick on the football pitch but there is a team of players that have been banned from driving outside their life of football.
Goalkeeper- Ben Foster
Many of you know of him for his days at Watford and these days his Youtube account TheCyclingGK.
however in 2022 Foster was banned for six months as he was caught going 99mph down the m40.
Left back- Marcos Alonso
The former Chelsea full back saw a lot of backlash in his playing career here in England due to his incident in the car back in Madrid.
Following a breathalyzer test Alonso failed he was banned for a total of 21 months back in 2015.
Right centre back- Leny Yoro
The most recent man on this list and most likely the youngest aswell and is starting to find his feet in the back of the Manchester United back line.
He was caught going 72mph in a Manchester suburb and has been banned for six months.
Left centre back- Wesley Fofana
For a partnership to Yoro we have the Chelsea star who is also one of the six red cards in the premier league this season.
Was caught speeding and dangerously driving and undertaking on the high speed motorway he was banned for 18 months are racked up a total of 38 points on his licence.
Right back – Brandon Williams
The ex-Manchester United full back started his career at fast pace following before being flushed out on loan seasons after season before his incident.
He was caught going 100mph on the a34 without insurance and was given a 14 month prison sentence and banned for two years.
Right centre mid- Justin Kluivert
After becoming the first player to score a hat trick of penalty’s and making a name for himself following his dads career.
Kluivert was banned for six months after he was caught going 71mph in a 40 zone.
Centre mid- Declan Rice
One of the best midfielders in the Premier League at this current time he scored goals he defends goals however he also likes to drive over the speed limit.
Rice was caught twice down the same street exeeding the speed limit and to make it worse they was both in the same week he was then banned for six months aswell.
Left centre mid- Etienne Capoue
Following his long career in football Capoue retired at Villareal before pursuing a career in basketball for CB Jovens L’Elina in Valencia.
Back in 2019 he was banned from driving for three months for driving 114mph down the m25
Ring wing- Morgan Gibbs-White
He plays an attacking role for his club at a high level in football and has been scoring goals in europe.
This did not stop the man from been caught speeding six times in two months acculating a six month ban.
Left wing – Marcus Rashford
The man that always wanted to play for Barcelona, now following his dreams and driving as fast as his plane out of Manchester
Rashford was caught going 104mph while he was ment to be driving at 70, he was handed a six month ban
Striker- Danny Graham
Being one of the only player that he had a loan funded by an entire fan base when he arrived in Darlington back in 2004.
In 2023 after his career was done Danny thought he would take a dizzy drive and crashed in co-op.
These are some of the players that have been banned from driving and there is many more footballers who think they could be F1 drivers.
