90 + 10 Mannion catches the header easily, that might just be it!

90 + 8 Short answer, no. The free-kick was collected easily by Mannion.

90 + 8 Free-kick to the O’s! Could this be there chance?

90 + 7 Orient need to show some urgency here!

51′ First attempt of the half falls to Leyton Orient, but Galbraith’s cross/shot is collected comfortably by Mannion.

46′ WE ARE BACK UNDERWAY FOR THE SECOND-HALF!

HALF TIME: CHARLTON 1-0 LEYTON ORIENT

A very cagey first 45 minutes, although Charlton won’t mind too much after taking the lead courtesy of an excellent Macaulay Gillesphey free-kick.

The standard is not quite there this afternoon for either side, but Orient fans will be hoping for an improvement, if not, their season will end on a bit of a whimper.

45′ Not a lot of action since the goal, both sides struggling to keep hold of the ball. Two minutes added on at the end of the half.

31′ GOALLLLLLL! Charlton 1-0 Leyton OrientĀ

Macaulay Gillesphey has scored from the resulting free-kick, curling it around the wall and into the corner! A MUCH better free-kick compared to the one he took just seven minutes prior!

The Charlton fans have gone MENTAL!

30′ Free-kick to Charlton in a VERY dangerous area as Tyreece Campbell is brought down on the edge of the box after a tricky run.

28′ As expected, Charlton manager Nathan Jones is very animated on the sideline as there is nothing to separate the two sides so far.

24′ Macaulay Gillesphey has just produced one of the worst free-kicks you will ever see! Passed it straight out for a goal-kick with not a single Charlton player in sight…

19′ EXCELLENT block from Charlton’s Kayne Ramsay as he threw himself in front of Ollie O’Neill’s effort from inside the box. It would have caused Will Mannion some problems if not.

13′ First shot of the game and it comes from Orient. However, Galbraith’s effort goes well wide.

7′ Tense start from both sides, but the Charlton fans are trying their best to spur them on. They are very loud!

4′ BIG challenge early on by Charlton’s Lloyd Jones, I think that is what you call a ‘reducer’! Free-kick for Orient.

12:59 LISTEN TO THAT ROAR!

12:55 THE TEAMS ARE OUT! THE FANS ARE BUZZING. WE ARE JUST MOMENTS AWAY FROM THE FINAL.

12:54 Charlton’s 40,000 allocation was sold out and the noise in here resembles just that. THEY. ARE. LOUD!

12:43 The Charlton fans make their feelings surrounding VAR very clear after boos can be heard when the stadium announcer reveals that it is in operation here today!

12:41 A reminder of the key stats ahead of this history-making game!

  • 40,000 Charlton fans will be in attendance after selling out their allocation, 30,000 Orient fans will fill out their end.

BOTH sides are unchanged from their semi-final second leg victories!

12:01 ONE HOUR UNTIL KICK-OFF! But why is the game getting underway a minute past the hour mark?

All play-off games will kick-off a minute later than scheduled due to Sky Bet’s partnership with the British Heart Foundation as part of the ā€˜Every Minute Matters’ campaign – an initiative to inspire supporters to learn CPR and have the skills needed to save someone’s life.

An amazing initiative for a great cause! If you want to find out more and know the techniques, you can learn the steps here.

11:54: Here’s a look inside the Charlton dressing room, but will it be a happy place later on for the Addicks?

The Addicks last came to Wembley six years ago in this exact final, with a late Patrick Bauer goal securing them promotion to the Championship for them.

As for the O’s, their last trip here was also in the League One play-off final in 2014, however they weren’t so lucky and lost out to Rotherham.
