THE Farnborough defender has joined Southern League Premier South side Winchester City on an initial one-month loan ahead of Saturday’s trip to AFC Tavistock in the FA Trophy.
Bradshaw 23, has previously played for The Citizens’ twice. The first time he joined from Forest Green Rovers during the 2020/2021 season before going onto join fellow Hampshire based club Eastleigh later the same season.
The second spell was a one-month loan from the National League side back in the 2021/2022 season when they were in the Southern League Division One South a league below where they are now.
Dan spoke to Winchester City club media saying;
“It’s good to be back for a short spell and I’m excited to get going. All the lads have been great and welcoming. Roll on Saturday!”
He spent 20 months at The Spitfires before leaving on a free transfer to join Beaconsfield Town in 2022, where he spent 2 years before joining his current side Farnborough ahead of the 2024/2025 season.
This helps manager Craig Davis with his side being plagued with injures with defenders Callum Buckley, Jordan Rose and Kieran Douglas all on the sidelines for the foresable future.
Craig spoke with Winchester City club media saying;
“I’m really pleased to get Dan on board, he’s a great lad and someone I’ve stayed in touch with. He’s played for us in the past while he was with Eastleigh before moving onto Beaconsfield Town and now Farnborough where he’s doing really well.
“He’s played loads of games for them and they’re top of the National League South. He’s a pedigree player, great lad and your typical Winch lad in terms of attitude and desire, so I’m delighted to have him on board.
“Once again a big thank you to Spencer Day and Farnborough for their help in getting Dan with us. He’s a player that they really like, and they know he’s good. Thank you to Farnborough for trusting us!”
