WE are just two weeks away from the 2026 NFL Draft. So we will be analyzing every team’s needs, division by division. Today we are looking at the AFC South, which was led by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2025-2026 season.
TENNESSEE TITANS-
Tennessee are desperate to help young quarterback Cam Ward, who has struggled to show his quality behind a poor offensive line. The titans have to find someone early on to give Ward time to create during games. Elsewhere they should focus on finding some defensive playmakers to help new defensive co-ordinator Robert Saleh, who struggled with an injury ravaged 49ers team last season.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS-
The Colts lack a first round pick this year, and they are in desperate need of some talent on defense. Laiatu Latu is a good name, but he needs some help when it comes to pass rushing. They lack any star players at linebacker or safety, and without a first round pick, filling all of these gaps will likely be impossible for Indianapolis.
HOUSTON TEXANS-
The Texans draft will likely be all about depth. After overhauling the offensive line in free agency, there are no glaring gaps in the Texans squad. This will likely be a draft of looking at who is left on the board and picking the best player, rather than trying to fill specific positions. If the Texans should focus on one position then getting another name on O-line might be smart, just in case the newly built line doesn’t end up working together,
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS-
Jacksonville no longer have linebacker Devin Lloyd, who left to the Panthers in free agency, so a replacement would be top priority when they finally get their pick in the second round. Elsewhere on defense, another rushing option to complement Josh Hines-Allen would be good to find deep into the draft. Outside of that, this draft will likely come down to taking the best player available instead of filling specific positions.
