Aitana Bonmati has taken home her third Ballon D’or in a row, proving to everyone she is the best of the best. Bonmati won the domestic treble with her club, Barcelona. In both the Champions League and the European Championship, the midfielder took home second place despite shining on the pitch, holding together that midfield and showing up at all times. Will she make it four in the row next year? This season has a lot to do with that in which Bonmati is already shining.

the Johan Cryff trophy went to none other than Sarina Weigman after she took home her third consecutive Euros title in the summer, making that her second in a row with England’s Lionesses.
Hannah Hampton took home the Yashin Trophy after the best season of her career so far. Hampton won the domestic treble the Euro Championship as England and Chelsea’s number one goalkeeper.
Arsenal Women were awarded the ‘Women’s Club of the year’ title as they won their second Champions League in their history, beating favourites for the competition, Barcelona with the scoreline ending 1-0.
