THE Solent University Cricket Team barely kept their head above water in the BUCS National Premier League (British University & College) last season with zero wins.
It was their first attempt competing at the highest level after dominating the leagues below for years.
They came into the season with great optimism as they had some established, quality players and some determined, new faces.
Despite this, the four games they competed in they lost, as well as the weather causing havoc, cancelling the remaining fixtures.
They recently held their annual trial session to scout any new talent at the university has to help fight the elite opposition.
