Why is darts the nation’s pub sport?

MANY of the professional darts players started at their local pub and credit that for helping them hone their craft to the point where they earn the big bucks.

With venues crowded week after week to watch the world’s top players compete for prize money that will make your eyes water, this age-old pub sport has become a phenomenon among the populace.

However, is the original scene of the game really preventing it from growing even more popular than it already is?

The local pub that demonstrated this was The Peartree Inn, on Monday in the cup final. The final was between West End Brewery of West End and The Cricketer Arms of Woolston.
