When the UEFA Conference League was introduced in 2021, many people dismissed it as unnecessary.
However, only a few seasons later, the competition is producing stories and making memories for clubs you probably never knew existed.
One of the main goals behind the Conference League was to give clubs from smaller leagues a realistic chance to make it further into European competitions.
Clubs from countries such as Belgium and Sweden have suddenly found themselves playing alongside some of Europe’s elites.
So far, AS Roma, West Ham, Olympiacos and Chelsea have won the competition.
This year, however, could see a smaller team win.
