The fight for undisputed Heavyweight gold is off as Tyson Fury has suffered an injury to his eye.
Frank Warren and his promotion company have confirmed this evening that Fury has suffered a cut in sparring.
According to the post “the cut required urgent medical attention causing the fight to be postponed”.

The fight was scheduled for February 17th alongside a cruiserweight title fight between Jai Opetaia and Maris Briedas.
It is unknown what happens to the remaining fights on the card which included Joe Cordina and Anthony Cacace for Featherweight gold.
Fury took to instagram to send his thoughts to fans “Cant help getting injured in sparring but what i can say was Usyk was in trouble i am in fantastic shape. i will reshedule soon as i can. 2024 a massive year for team GK (Gypsy King)”
