Tottenham announce interim head coach, Igor Tudor

FORMER Juventus head coach, Igor Tudor has verbally agreed to become the new Tottenham interim manager until the end of the season.

This comes following the dismissal of Thomas Frank after a gloomy 8 months at the wheel.

The Croatian’s priority will be to keep the North London side in the Premier League – they currently hover just 5 points above the drop zone.

Tudor has been out of work since October after Juventus sacked him. The 47 year-old has zero Premier League experience.

His CV boasts 10 clubs however, managing the likes Marseille, Lazio, and Galatasaray – it’s fair to see he’s accustomed to a hostile set of fans.

Tudor’s previous 2 jobs have been in the Serie A, With Juventus and Lazio. He only managed 9 games for the latter, losing just once before resigning.

For the Old Lady, he took over in March of last year and guided them to fourth – securing Champions league football and earning himself a fresh contract.

However from the start of this season results collapsed and he was sacked by October.

The Croatian is expected to take charge of his first training session for Spurs on Monday, with his first game being one of high stakes and bragging rights next weekend – a real unforgiving test in the North London Derby. Welcome to the Premier League Igor.
