AFC Taurus bullied their way into the second round of the SFA Divisional Sunday Senior Cup with Ash Madden’s hat-trick leading the way in a 9-2 thumping of Mottisfont.
Isaac Bartolo (2), Nick von Bismark, Ethan Goodge and James Lewis added to the total with Nick Beattie and an own goal providing Mottisfont’s consolation.
Charlie Rattley was back among the goals, poaching a hat-trick in Linden Tree’s 6-0 win over Millbrook. A Hoe Davis double and a single from Josh Ball completed the scoring.
Despite goals from Jamie Grassie, Freddie Biggs and Aaron Heskins, Lyndhurst dipped out 5-2 to Townhill.
In the Junior A Cup, Pavilion Panthers ran riot against Newchester with the goals spread around in an 8-2 win. Doubles from Mike MacDonald and Nathan Cookson were added to by single strikes from Dan Hughton, Nathan Jenvey, Jarred Parker and Jake Willis-Dellimore, with Kieran Devin and Eric Barnes consoling Newchester.
Doubles from Jorge Abreu and Sofyan Khalfi eased Boyatt Wood through to a 4-0 win against Sarisbury Spartans Reserves and Duanne Williams, Liam Higgins and Kajale Ceesay saw Bursledon through 3-1 against Boorley Green (Owen Roles)
Brendon Hill’s hat-trick and a single strike from Ryan Bailey-Kilford saw Hythe Town edge out Star Romsey 4-3.
In the junior B Cup Connor Mills-McCarthy helped himself to five as AFC Woodside battered Solent Sports Butchers 8-2, Mackenzie Broadbridge, Alex Azadegan and Oli Robinson were also on target.
Chandlers Ford emerged 6-2 winners on penalties against Blackfield and Langley B, with Ollie Burroughs, Sam Piper, Jack Somers, George Eades, Sam Collins and Alex Smith all on the money from the spot.
Jake Allen’s hat-trick was the foundation stone for Elephant 7 Castle’s 7-1 Tramling of Fleming Athletic. Jacob Murray (2), Harry Good and Lewis Twomey also weighed in with goals.
Similar story as Owen Plunkett‘s triple boosted NMCR to a 7-0 win over Hearts Athletic, Sam Comely, Jake Platt, Kieran Roper and Jake Parker completed the rout.
Waterside Wanderers eased past AFC Woodside Reserves 5-0, thanks to goals from Marley Thomas (2), Charlie Paddock, Carlos Borges and Daniel Pinckney, while Lewis Horne’s goal was enough as Wyvern Youth Athletic edged out Pavilion Panthers Reserves.
In league action, Southern Sports Youth made it five wins from five at the top of Division Two. Charlie Glasspool (2), Richie Fernandez, Liam Attrill and Charlie Whitehead on the money in a 5-0 win over Athletico Millbrook.
Jack Bailey and Brandon Williams earned GTFC their first league win of the campaign, a 2-0 victory over AFC Hutwood.
In Division Three Newton bagged their first three points of the season as Tamin Chowdary (2), Callum Reid and Tafadzwa Mhizha saw off Lyndhurst Reserves 4-2 (Morgan Vincent 2).
Sporting Compass sit astride the top of Division Three, a 7-3 win over Embley Park making it three wins from three. Sam Tonks (4), Jack Nicholas (2) and Jay Rowe saw off Embley strikes from Zak Anderson, Gursewak Singh and Mattie Effick.
Hedge End Town made it four from four at the top of Division Four as Tommy Crump and Adam Swift both notched hat-tricks in a 6-3 win over Marchwood Rangers (Brad Raynsford 2, Dan Gray) who have lost all three.
Bishopstoke Sunday made it three wins from three at the top of Division Five as Sam Bessant (3), Connor Brown (2) and Kieran Smith notched in a 6-1 win over Hamwic (Dalton Baker) but Humble Plumb drew level on points, having played a game more, with an 8-0 drubbing of AFC Lakeside. Craig King, Matt Croft and Matt Gabbot all scored doubles with Ben Schneider and Will Fitzsimmons also on target.
Eric Coussou’s hat-trick led the way in Hamble Club’s 5-2 win over Cottage, Oliver Bailey and Malachi Phillip also weighed in, with James Moorman and Russell Barfoot replying for Cottage.
BTC Sunday Reds are looking ominous in Division Six as an 8-1 win over Burridge made it two wins from two. Grant Newham grabbed four with Cawley Ross (2), Connor Golding and Ben Lunnon filling their boots. Tom Cane nabbed Burridge’s consolation.
Netley Royals saw off Folland Sports 5-2 with Harley Daish (2), Hakeem Ogunsanya and Zac Collins among the scorers, with Alex Hull and Ryan Longhurst replying for Follands.
Struggling Blackfield & Langley Youth paid the price for only raising nine men as they were thumped 7-1 by Sarisbury Spartans Thirds. Mike Lamb and Jacob Newel both scored twice, with Kahree Brown, Lewis Diroma and Lucas Spencer rounding things off. Oliver Rickman’s goal denied the clean sheet.
Boorley Green B claimed their first Division Eight win of the campaign, with Liam Dunnett and Nathan Newman (2, 1 pen) on target in a 3-0 in over AFC Spitfire and bottom of the pile Harefield United are still looking for their first point of the season, despite goals from Dom Elliott and George Halford in a 4-2 defeat to Bede’s Lea. Fred Young, Harvey Reid and Oscar Lapidge were on target for Bede’s.
