Premier League night one in Cardiff was certainly eventful, with ‘Bully Boy’ Smith coming away victorious after beating Gerwyn Price 6 – 2 in the final.

However, Micheal Smiths toughest opponent in last nights action was perhaps the crowd. The former number one had to block out their whistles and jeers in a semi final match against 17 year-old Luke Littler.

It seemed to be that whoever played Luke Littler in the opening night would be on the back end of whistles from the crowd.

World number one Luke Humphries also received off-putting gestures from the crowd in his quarter- final match against PL debutant Luke Littler.

With The Cazoo Masters starting tonight, we may be excused of the whistling due to Littler not playing in this competition.
