Scotland Set Aside by Spain in Euro Qualifiers

Spain were victorious last night over Scotland in a 2-0 win

Thanks to goals from Alvaro Morata and Oihan Sancet, the Spaniards have gained on Scotland and close their lead to 3 points, and a game in hand

Therefore winning against Norway would put them top of the table, settling their nerves and almost ensuring their place in the Euros

Scotland felt hard done by during the match, as Scott McTominay scored a great free kick from a tight angle giving them an early lead.

However it was disallowed by VAR, controversially, much to the disapproval from the fans in blue.

Adding insult to Injury Scotland’s Skipper Andrew Roberston was taken off due to injury, the Scots will be hoping it’s not a big injury as they face Georgia and potentially a massive game in Norway in a months time.

Making a late push in Group A is Norway, after a slow start they’ve picked up form and sit only 5 points behind Scotland.

Haaland scored twice in their 4-0 win against Cyprus, igniting their ambitions in the Euro qualifiers and keeps their hopes alive.

The top of the group is tight and looks like it could result in any one of the three missing out on qualification, making for great entertainment in the UEFA European Qualifiers.
