FORMULA E held the ultimate motorsport experience for 12 of the world’s most-followed personalities to get behind the wheel of the world’s fastest electric race car and understand what it takes to reach the pinnacle of motorsport.
The electric series’ recent Evo Sessions marked a groundbreaking initiative, offering global personalities—actors, athletes, and content creators—with a combined fan base of over 300 million to be paired with Formula E’s elite race teams and drivers as part of their preparations to take on the race track themselves.
All participants have received an intense training programme, including simulator sessions, physical conditioning, driver coaching, hardware customisation for their race seats and engineering briefings.
They’ve experienced firsthand how tough and complicated it is to prepare, train, and drive like a world-class racing driver.
In the two-day event, they would have experienced the astounding performance of the all-new GEN3 Evo race car at the Miami International Autodrome. The cars are capable of 0-60mph/ 100kph in just 1.82s – 30% faster than the current F1 car.
“The initial reaction when I presented the concept of ‘Evo Sessions’ to our teams and partners was, ‘this is wild!’ – which is when I immediately knew we had to bring it to life.”
Jeff Dodds, CEO, Formula E
