POMPEY’S Championship fixture against Ipswich Town at Fratton Park has been postponed for the second time in 2026.
This follows overnight rainfall on an already saturated pitch with a forecast predicting further rainfall throughout the day.
The match was initially delayed on January 4th following three pitch inspections of a frozen pitch – their first frozen pitch call-off for 14 years.
It was then rescheduled to the 3rd February but got called off at 11:15am following continual rain throughout the night with the day’s total rainfall predicted to be 11mm.
A new date will be announced for the game in due course.
