PGA Pro shoots one of the lowest scores in Golf history

Chilean golfer Cristobal del Solar shot one of the lowest rounds in history of professional golf with a 13-under-par 57 in the Astara Championship.

The 30-year-old plays on the Korn Ferry Tour, the development tour to the PGA tour, made two eagles and nine birdies.

The event was held in Columbia, 9000 feet above sea level, and shot his 57 on the Pacos course.

Only one other golfer has shot a 57 on the professional circuit, which came for David Carey at the 2019 on the Alps tour.

The world’s number 259 could have had the chance to shot a 56, but couldn’t hole out a 15-foot putt on the last hole of the day.

This was Del Solar’s first win on the Korn Ferry Tour with the latest Astara champion having four professional wins before this, all coming on the PGA Latinoamerica.
