McLaren’s Lando Norris involved in pit lane collison

LANDO Norris has been involved in a pit lane collision with Charles Leclerc in second practice session for the Singapore Grand Prix.

Norris was in the pit lane following a red flag, when Leclerc pulled out straight into the side of him, following an instruction from a Ferrari team member. Norris’s car hit the concrete wall and suffered a damaged front wing, Norris was immediately back out following the incident.

Norris said on the radio “I just crashed, he just drove straight into me.”.

Norris went onto registering his fastest lap time after the incident however the Brit was still 0.483 seconds slower than the pace-setter, which Norris put down to his “Bad Driving” and not the incident in the pit lane.

The stewards are now investigating Leclerc for his involvement in the collision.

Norris will hope to have resolved his driving by Sunday afternoon for the main event.
