Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s 25% takeover is nearing as each day passes, he is looking to make major changes at Manchester United within from top to bottom.
Richard Arnold is set to lose his role as CEO at the Red Devils as Ratcliffe reportedly holds him and John Murtough who is the Director of Football at Old Trafford.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has blamed Murtough for the failures in the transfer market following the failures with Antony, Jadon Sancho and Casemiro who all three players have had their value decrease.
He has also blamed Richard Arnold for the way he handled the Mason Greenwood situation on how indecisive and lacked authority.
Reportedly Sir Jim Ratcliffe has drawn up a shortlist for a potential new football director, Dougie Freedman and highly rated Paul Mitchell are among the early contenders to come following John Murtough’s departure.
As for the newly available CEO role at the club, there has one major name who has been named the favourite in last few days and that is Jean-Claude Blanc who was CEO at Juventus and PSG.
