11.40: That’s it for the day in Rajkot
But not before a bit of last over drama. Ben Duckett survives a final over leg before referral, to end the day unbeaten on 133, bolstering England’s reply of 207-2 which has wrestled the initiative away from India who were dismissed earlier in the day for 455.
11.10: India strike!
Duckett is still gong strong but he has lost another partner as Ollie Pope’s nightmare day continues.
Having shelled the dolliest of dollies to present Ashwin with a life earlier, Pope is rapped on the pads by Siraj and after the umpire says no, India take it upstairs and their appeal is successful to leave England 182-2. Joe Root comes top the middle, in need of a score.
