Earlier in the day, Sheffield United got a huge 3-2 win at the King Power Stadium as they climb out of the bottom three with Portsmouth taking their place in 22nd after a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Fratton Park against Bristol City.

The automatic spots opened up even more as second place Stoke City lost at home. Hull City’s Joe Gelhardt scored a late goal against The Potters, which drags Hull back into the playoff picture, as they sit in fifth, two points off Stoke.
