HYTHE & Dibden beat Bridgwater 3-0 to proceed to the second round of the FA Vase.
The win officially marks Hythe and Dibden’s best ever run in the competition with the side’s previous best effort coming in 2013 where they made the first round.
The trip to Somerset marks the sides longest trip of the season so far and the first time the side has taken a coach for travel.
Despite the record breaking run in the FA Vase Hythe sit just two points away from relegation sitting 18th in the league but will be hoping to carry on from Saturday’s momentum.
