Solent Futsal 2s had a really good start to the season after they beat Exeter University 10-4 in the first game to then face UWE Bristol at home where they lost 19-0, the rematch is set to take place this Sunday away.
The Futsal 2s have been very unfortunate in the past couple of weeks as they lost to Exeter University the second time around 7-6 after they were leading majority of the game and an injury occured which made Exeter crawl back for the win.
With UWE being a tough opponent for them to face again, keeping the edge of confidence is key for making sure the team is ready and doesn’t back down for the challenge.
Coach Nicholas Oliverson and his team need to be on their A-game from start to finish if they are aiming for promotion and this could be the game which sends them on a good run to make it happen.
“We have been working on a lot since the loss to build the confidence back up but they gained confidence after the Exeter game” – Nicholas Oliverson
Off the pitch is a good way of building the right culture, building on socials which brings the team closer whilst maintaining the level of professionalism on the pitch.
David Clayton is the Futsal 2s captain and believes in the team and that they are taking steps in the right direction to getting back on the win column.
Found out more of what the team has to say about this upcoming fixture…
