Last weekend, there were many key and important moments in English football. From FA cup drama, to league one Wrestling moves, here are a few moments you may have not seen.
- The EIGHT minute VAR delay in Bournemouth’s FA cup win

Despite the introduction of the new semi-automated offside technology, there was a farce eight minute and 11 second delay, which ended in a disallowed goal for the Cherries.
The technology has been praised heavily and the introduction was meant to speed up these decisions and help minimise anticipation for fans.
However the lengthy check was the longest check in English football history, causing chants such as “this is embarrassing” and “It’s not football anymore” sung in harmony by both home and away fans.
The hosts went on to beat Wolves on penalties to progress to the quarter final of the FA Cup.
- Red mist descends in Sussex

Crawley Town of League one hosted fellow relegation battlers Cambridge United, in a huge game in the fight for survival.
The visitors came out 2-0 victors, however it was the conduct issues that took the headlines.
Crawley’s Rushain Hepburn-Murphy was sent off for an off the ball WWE move.
This saw the attacker get a Cambridge defender in a choke hold and throw him to the ground, in a move Ray Mysterio would be proud of.
Cambridge left-back James Gibbons threw himself into a two footed potential leg-breaker on Crawley defender Charlie Barker which saw a second red-card of the game.
- Totton and Merthyr settle for a draw

A tense battle in the south saw title-chasers AFC Totton and fellow chasers Merthyr battle out a fierce and fiery all or nothing game.
The result was a dull one in terms of the title race as nothing has really changed about the standings and the sides are in the same positions they were in before the clash.
Ricardo Ree’s fired the Welsh side ahead in the 53rd minute, as he rifled a strike into the top-left corner.
However, talisman Scott Rendell equalised for the Stags in the 85th minute to leave the chase for the title going down to the wire.
- Birmingham set League One record

Promotion hunting Birmingham set another record in their heavily successful campaign after their drop from the Championship.
The blues have amassed 76 points from their 32 games, a total which no team has been able to challenge for before.
Whilst they have spent large amounts of money, it is no doubt that we are seeing one of the best sides in League One history.
- Frank Lampard’s Coventry revival

Coventry went up to 5th place with their away win at Oxford United on Saturday and have won eight games out of their last nine.
Despite the confusion and uncertainty of the sacking of former boss Mark Robins, Lampard has managed to win back the hearts of the sky blues and get the club dreaming again.
Will Lampard be the one to finally lift Coventry back to the top tier of English football?
