England to clinch World Cup qualification tonight against Latvia

ENGLAND face Latvia in Riga tonight at 7:45 in a game which could lead to automatic qualification to this summer’s World Cup in North America.

The Three Lions must collect all three points tonight in order to be cemented at the top of group K where they have won every game so far.

In all 5 World Cup Qualification games with new England’s manager Thomas Tuchel, the team have yet to concede while also scoring 13 goals so far in what has been a perfect starting to the Tuchel era.

The England squad is also one of the strongest it has been in years with the likes of Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer and captain Harry Kane as well as others improving since the last World Cup.

The obvious ambition for the Three Lions would be to finally win an international competition after multiple late heartbreaks in recent years like the 2021 Euros loss to Italy and more recently the 2024 Euros to Spain.

With the integration of the former Champions league winning coach with Chelsea in 2021, hopes of finally returning to the top of international football for the first time since 1966 for England fans could be fulfilled this summer.

Have a listen to the preview of tonight’s game as well as fans opinions on England’s chances this summer.
