Do darts prices really matter?

THE RECENT growth in popularity in darts was catalysed by teen sensation Luke Littler and his run to the PDC World Championship final.

One of the fans who gained interest in the sport was Josh Cole, a university student at Southampton Solent University.

Buying multiple sets of darts over time, he has grown a collection in which the price ranges from a free set, to £90 ones.

Josh described the £90, Nathan Aspinall darts – his favourite player- as having “the best grip and the most well weighted”

Following Mike De Deckers shock win at the World Grand Prix this weekend, Solent Sports News asked if the price of darts affect how you play, or is it purely down to skill?

We decided to test to see whether the price of darts really matter, are the expensive ones more accurate? How do they feel to throw?

We spoke to Josh about his darts sets, which ones he prefers, and why.
