Devils Needing a Bounce

The Solent Devils will be looking to bounce back after a heavy 9-5 defeat at the hands of the Chelmsford Chieftains.

A Damon Porter hat trick helped lift the former champions over the Hampshire outfit.

13 different skaters had points in the game with Porter, Alesksandr Maltsev and Oliver Baldock each having three point games

Liam Coleman had himself a five point night, with two goals and three assists to his name meaning he had a hand in every shot that hit the back of the net.

The Devils had a slim chance to go top last week but instead remained 5th with four points from four games.

This week they head back to Chelmsford for another go at the Chieftains.

Looking to avoid back to back defeats, they’ll be hoping for a more collective offensive performance against the side sat third in the standings.

The Devils have scored the third least goals in the division with 18 and will be hoping they can capitalise on playing the side with the worst defensive record in the division.

The puck drops at the Chelmsford Ice Rink at 6pm with the Devils hoping to get their season back on track.
