SARINA Wiegman has announced her upcoming Lionesses squad ahead of England’s World Cup Qualifiers against Ukraine and Ireland.
Captain Leah Williamson as well as Lauren James return to the squad for the first time since Euros 2025 after recovering from injury.
Alex Greenwood, Hannah Hampton and Jess Carter return to the Lionesses after missing out on the November squad also due to injury.
Poppy Pattison has earnt her first senior call up after impressing with WSL first timers, London City Lionesses.
Ellie Roebuck returns over Khiara Keating due to Keating’s lack of playing time with Manchester City.
Despite these returns and new faces, England are yet again tarnished with injuries.
Beth Mead misses out after picking up a bone fracture whilst Katie Reid, Michelle Agyemang and Jessica Naz are still recovering from ACL injuries.
Ella Toone, Niamh Charles and Missy Bo Kearns are all ruled out after picking up injuries at their respective clubs.

England play Ukraine on March 3rd before heading back to England to host Iceland at the City Ground in Nottingham on March 7th.
