AUDIO: The Importance of FA Cup Prize Money

WITH more money available to non-league clubs in the FA Cup than their league, Chelmsford, Eastleigh & AFC Totton have huge games tomorrow.

Chelmsford will play Chippenham Town at home, Eastleigh travel to Hampton & Richmond Borough, whilst AFC Totton face up against Truro City at home.

If the clubs lose tomorrow, the prize money is £3,125 but if they win… £9,375 could be coming the way of these three teams.

The first round proper is up for grabs, where not only is there a guaranteed £15,000 but also the opportunity to create lasting memories for fans and players alike by potentially drawing an EFL league one or league two teams.

Bolton, Wigan, Luton, Huddersfield, are just some of the big teams that any of the clubs could face in the FA Cup first round proper, and with that draw, comes a potential tie on TV for some more money.
