AFC Totton are through to the next round of the FA trophy after a stunning 2-1 win over Plymouth Parkway.
Goals from Sam Magri and Matty Burrows helped secure the win for the stags.
However, just minutes before full time Plymouth pulled one back through Dylan Jones but ultimately the stags were victorious.
Totton boss Jimmy Ball said: “We scored a good goal from our point of view but I’m sure it would be a poor goal from their point of view.”
To try and get back in the game Plymouth changed their shape which hindered Totton’s attacking options.
When asked about Plymouth’s change of shape Ball explained: “We allowed them some territory, a bit too much for my liking, but when we changed shape, coming out for the second half was what changed it.”
The stags will take on Merthyr town in the next round of the competition, will they emerge victorious?
