FANS of The Saints have voiced their opinions on their side’s current performances in the Championship this campaign.
Southampton find themselves well off early season expectations in 17th with the international break now underway, a far cry from pre-season bookies’ predictions.
The announcement of Will Still’s appointment as the new man in the St Mary’s Stadium dugout in May 2025 was met with excitement from club supporters.
However, it has been far from straightforward on the South Coast for the 33-year-old, with the latest match against Championship strugglers Derby County that ended in a 1-1 draw confounding the deflation felt by fans.
This comes despite a number of high-profile signings from Still, bringing in the likes of Finn Azaz, Caspar Jander, Tom Fellows and Damion Downs to aid with the promotion push.
“I don’t think they will go up this year,” said one fan.
“He [Will Still] could be in danger of losing his job at the end of the year.”
Southampton will resume their Championship campaign with a midday home kick-off against Welsh side Swansea City on Saturday 18th October.
