MILLBROOK FC are running a community initiative to provide free football sessions for young kids in the local area.
Vice Chairman Matt Alford is one of the coaches for Munchkins and Wizards: “We want kids in the community and surrounding area to fall in love with playing football.”
The sessions take place every Saturday morning at Test Park Sports Facility, which is also home to the men’s First Team.
Women’s First Team captain Cas Ellis said: “We have a great support network. It’s a great community club.”
The initiative started in 2021 after the conclusion of the COVID-19 lockdown, and has become very popular with parents: “The sessions are really fun and engaging, and the kids love that we can join in with them.”
