Footballers from Bognor are raising funds to get to the Arctic Circle

A GROUP of recreational footballers from Bognor Regis are raising money to travel to Henningsvær Stadium in Norway.

The journey, which will be done exclusively via public transport, will be in honour of James Palmer-Bullock.

He was described as: “More than a football mate, he was family.”

They will travel on trains, boats and buses to reach the Arctic Circle.

The Stadium is 1983 miles from Bognor, and its island (part of the Lofoten Islands) is surrounded by fish racks to dry cod.
